So much to say...

but nothing to write.

I have reached Chapter 2 of Moby Dick. If the prologue and first chapter are any indication, this will be a slow, enjoyable read.
So today I am off work, and my family wants to go to the Wilson County Fair. I think it sounds pretty boring, since I've already been so many times. But maybe I'll go and try to enjoy it.

Casual Thursday

So I've sort of gotten away from the original purpose of this place, and that was to write stuff that practically no one would read and therefore have a free and easy atmosphere to just chill. And no more silly underdeveloped fiction for a while either.

I've just started fulfilling a childhood goal. Reading Moby Dick was a slightly daunting task for me as a 9 year old, so I just started it, then went back to Uncle Tom's Cabin, Huckleberry Finn, and my favorite, The Yearling.
So I'll be reading it on my iPod Touch. Should be fun.
